Hey everyone! For this week’s blog I will be talking about what i’m thankful for. There are many things that I am thankful for and this might be a very long blog so. Anyways these are just some of the things that i’m thankful for.
So, the first thing that i’m thankful for is friends and family. The reason why i’m so thankful is because they have helped me throughout life basically. For example one of my friends Taylor also known as my partner has helped me throughout first quarter and I hope she will for the rest of the year. Another one of my friends Taylor M. has helped me with the little things when I forgot about them. My family has been with me since the day I was born. My mom and dad has always been there for me and I hope that will never change.
The next thing i’m thankful for is having the privilege to learn. Some kids out there in different countries don’t even go to school and learn. They have to help their families instead of going to school everyday. We get to learn a lot of things that could help me and my peers for later on in life. For example, in explorer wheel we learn how to eat healthy and how to stay healthy. So I think that we are very lucky to be able to go to our school to learn every weekday. To add on I am really thankful to be in such an amazing media class. I have learned so much from this class and I totally want a career in the media field.
The last thing that i’m thankful for is having the world wide web. The reason why i’m thankful for the web is because I get to express myself through my media work online. If you have looked through my website I have a lot of projects that I have worked on really hard. I I like expressing myself through videos and my videos that I have worked on show a lot of my creativity. Another reason why I am thankful for the web is that you can donate and help many people in need. Online there are many ways to give back to people in need.
So that’s all for this week! These are a few of many things i’m thankful for. Hope you enjoyed have a great day and, Happy Thanksgiving!
So hey everyone this week’s blog topic is the dreaded presidential election. All american citizens know that Donald Trump is going to take over the big house on January 20, 2016. But honestly I thought that Hillary Clinton was going to win, totally #imwithher. But this was a hectic, confusing election I must say but here are some of the things that I learned from this election.
The first thing that I learned was that social media is a KILLER is you are running for president. Someone on the opposing side can immediately can pull up something that you said that can hurt your campaign. Always watch what you post because someone can pull up your page and it will be the end. For example, reporters have dug deep into Donald Trump’s internet history and have found something truly disgusting. On one of Mr. Trump’s favorite social media site Twitter he tweeted out about fake crime statistics. I mean what was he thinking and to add to it they were racially charged. This is just one example why you have to think before you text.
The second thing that I have picked up from this presidential election is the simpler way is probably the best way. If you go all out you will probably get confused with what you are doing and you campaign will fall down the drain. This is one of the reasons why a campaign can simply fail and why some campaigns fall even if the politician is good. I have seen many elections were there were great politicians and their campaigns were just a mess! Nothing was organized and it was just a mess. It hurts to see your politician fail.
The last thing I learned from the election is to always stick to one thing. As you can tell Donald Trump has said a lot of bad things. He was a businessman before and he knows that you can say untrue things to get to the top. But, it doesn’t really help when you're running for the president of the country. But, Hillary Clinton has been first lady and has saw the problems that america has had over the years. She would have made history by being the first lady president. Back to what I was saying you should always stick to what you're good at.
So that’s what I learned from this year’s election. This in my opinion was a very hectic election and anyone could have won. So that’s all for this week’s assigned blog.
Hey everyone for this week’s assigned blog I will talking about our second quarter project and how it’s going so far. We will doing our project on the Waipa foundation, they connect people with the land and teach people local values and their lifestyle. I think that we are a little behind schedule but if we fix a few things we will be on track.
The first reason why I think that we are on schedule is that we have all of our interviews done and now we are transcribing. In total we have 4 interviews but there is one with two people. We got really good interviews with a lot of good things that we can put in.
The second reason why I think that we are on track is we are almost done with broll. In Waipa when we were shooting there were many opportunities to get good footage. You could definitely see why we chose this foundation to do a news story on, they showed how they kept the hawaiian traditions alive. In my opinion I think there will be very good b roll in this project.
Finally, the last reason why I think that we are on schedule is because we have almost everything filmed and now we just go along with it. Like I said before we have interviews and some b roll so now we transcribe and finish up it up. I really love the story and i’m sure you will to.
So, that’s all for this week! In the middle of December we will able to upload the video so you can see it.
Hey everyone this week Mr. M forgot to post a assigned blog topic this free blog is the only blog that I will be doing this week.
